Do I need an account?

Yes. Sign in with a magic link to your email — no password to remember. The account binds your devices, applies tier limits, and helps recover access if you reinstall a machine.

Can I self-host?

Yes. Run your own relay (rustdesk-server: hbbs + hbbr) and point clients at it in Settings → Network. On the free tier, auth still uses our cloud; self-hosted auth is on the roadmap.

How is this different from RustDesk?

Tenvo is a RustDesk fork with Tenvo AI, tier limits, a redesigned UI, signed installers, and managed relay. Same core protocol — want upstream only? Use RustDesk; want managed service on top? Use Tenvo.

Will my data be encrypted?
