Mouse stops responding during a remote session
The mouse cursor freezes or becomes unresponsive for 10–20 seconds (or permanently until reconnect).
1. Allow keyboard/mouse input on the remote device
On the remote machine (the one being controlled):
- Open Tenvo → Settings (in the left sidebar).
- Go to Security.
- Confirm Allow keyboard control and Allow mouse control are toggled on.
3. Toggle relay routing
- Open Settings from the left sidebar.
- Toggle "Direct P2P when possible" (Settings → Connection → Relay) to the opposite state and reconnect. Try both settings to find which is more stable on your network.
4. Check antivirus, VPN, or firewall
Security software can interfere with Tenvo's virtual input driver. Add Tenvo to the exclusion/allow list in your antivirus and firewall, then reconnect.
5. Disable session recording temporarily
Recording adds CPU/IO load that can cause input lag:
- Open Settings → File transfer.
- Turn off Auto-record incoming sessions.
6. Admin windows on the remote
UAC prompts and other windows that run as administrator can sit above a standard session and appear to freeze input. If the remote machine runs the Tenvo background service, that usually handles them; if not, someone may need to approve the prompt locally on the remote device.
