Keyboard doesn't work in a remote session (macOS → Windows)

If the mouse works but the keyboard is unresponsive when controlling a Windows PC from macOS, work through these steps.

1. Grant macOS accessibility permissions to Tenvo

macOS requires explicit permission before any app can inject keyboard input.

  1. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
  2. Make sure Tenvo is listed and its toggle is on.
  3. If Tenvo is missing, click +, navigate to /Applications/Tenvo.app, and add it.
  4. Restart Tenvo on the macOS device and reconnect.

2. Check keyboard permission on the Windows host

On the Windows machine being controlled, open Tenvo → SettingsSecurity and confirm Allow keyboard control is on. If a specific app that runs as administrator ignores keystrokes, it is blocking input from standard processes — check it by signing in to the remote machine locally.

3. Update Tenvo

If the issue persists, install the latest release from tenvoai.com and retry.
