Keyboard doesn't work in a specific app (e.g. accounting software)

The keyboard responds everywhere on the remote desktop except inside one particular program.

This almost always means that one app runs with administrator / elevated privileges. Windows blocks input sent from a lower-privilege process into an elevated window, so a standard remote session can't type into it. It is specific to that app, not a Tenvo setting.

What to check:

  • On the remote device, open Tenvo → SettingsSecurity and confirm Allow keyboard control is on. If typing works in other apps, it is already on.
  • Update Tenvo on both devices, since input handling improves between releases.
  • If only that one elevated app is affected, interact with it locally on the remote machine, or relaunch it without "Run as administrator".
