How do I set a permanent password for unattended access?
By default Tenvo shows a one-time password under the device ID — it refreshes automatically and is meant for attended sessions. For unattended (headless) access, set a permanent password on the remote device.
On the remote device:
- Open Tenvo on the remote machine.
- Open Settings from the left sidebar and select the Connection tab.
- In the Identity section, turn on the Permanent password toggle.
- Type your chosen password in the dialog and save.
Now anyone who knows the device ID and that password can connect without interaction on the remote side.
Note: Password settings can only be changed locally on the remote device — they cannot be modified remotely during a session, by design.
