I get "too many incorrect password attempts" — how do I fix this?

This lockout is triggered by repeated failed connection attempts on the remote device. To resolve it:

  1. On the remote device, open Tenvo → SettingsConnection.
  2. Verify (or reset) the permanent password. Even re-saving the same password clears the lockout state.
  3. On your side, retry the connection with the correct password.

If you no longer know the permanent password:

  • Someone with physical access to the remote machine must open Tenvo and set a new one in Settings → Connection (the Permanent password toggle).
  • There is no remote way to view or reset a permanent password without local access.
