How do I stop Tenvo from accepting incoming connections temporarily?
Tenvo has no in-app "service" on/off switch — incoming access is controlled by the access password, not a toggle. To stop accepting incoming connections:
Quit Tenvo. Closing the app stops it accepting new incoming sessions on that device.
Remove the permanent password (if you set one): Settings → Connection → turn Permanent password off. Connections then fall back to the One-time password, which changes after every disconnect — so an old password no longer works and nobody can connect unless you hand out the current one.
On Windows, stop the background service for a hard block:
- Open Services (
services.msc). - Find the Tenvo service.
- Right-click → Properties → set Startup type to Manual or Disabled, then click Stop.
Quitting the app or stopping the service blocks incoming connections. You can still open Tenvo to make outgoing connections.
