Antivirus or security software is blocking connections to a specific device

If you can connect to some devices but not others, and reinstalling or switching install methods (e.g. MSI vs. direct installer) didn't help, the likely cause is antivirus or DLP software intercepting Tenvo's TLS certificate on the blocked machine.

How to confirm: on the affected device, check the Tenvo connection log for certificate or SSL errors.

Fixes:

  1. Add a Tenvo exclusion in your security software. Add the Tenvo process (godesk.exe / godesk service) and the relay endpoint relay.tenvoai.com to your antivirus or DLP allowlist.
  2. Disable SSL inspection for Tenvo traffic in your firewall or endpoint security policy. Tenvo uses its own end-to-end encrypted channel — MITM inspection breaks the signature chain.
  3. Restart Tenvo on the affected device after applying the exclusion.

Contact Tenvo support if you need the exact certificate fingerprints to add to your allowlist.
