"Device ID does not exist" — what to do

This error means the remote device is not currently registered with Tenvo's relay.

  1. On the remote device, open Tenvo and confirm it shows a valid ID and is connected (status indicator is green).
  2. Restart the Tenvo service on the remote device (see Restarting the Tenvo service below).
  3. Check for antivirus, VPN, or firewall software blocking Tenvo's outbound connection to relay.tenvoai.com:443.
  4. Wait a minute and retry — a brief relay hiccup can cause a transient "not found" state.
