Keyboard (or mouse) stops working when I control a Windows PC from my Mac

If key presses or mouse clicks sent from your Mac are not reaching the remote Windows machine:

  1. Check macOS permissions on the Mac controller — Tenvo needs Accessibility and Input Monitoring enabled on the machine you are connecting from. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security and verify both.
  2. Check input permissions on the Windows host — open Tenvo → SettingsSecurity on the Windows machine and confirm Allow keyboard control and Allow mouse control are on.
  3. Mac modifier keys — in Tenvo Settings → Input & display, try toggling Swap modifier keys on macOS if ⌘/Ctrl shortcuts aren't mapping correctly to Windows.
  4. Restart Tenvo on both ends — quit and relaunch Tenvo on the Mac (controller) and on the Windows machine (host), then reconnect.
  5. Update Tenvo — keyboard handling improvements ship regularly; ensure both devices run the latest version.

If the issue persists after all steps, contact support with the Tenvo version and macOS version on the controller side.
